The last few days have been an unprecedented experience to say the least. It seems like things are changing by the minute. We are hardly able to process one thing before a new change throws us another direction.
While this has been a challenge to us all, we are encouraged as we begin to see our neighbors stepping up to help when help is needed. We are inspired by those who are working at the front line of our community, exhausted and overwhelmed, yet still working side by side to care and nurse the sick. We are optimistic that through all the change and all the concern, we will arise from this experience a stronger and more caring people.
In the meantime, we have decided, as a family run business, that we need to make some temporary changes to our practice meeting format. Traditionally, we are very hands on and very face to face oriented. However, out of concern for our clients, our neighbors and our family, we moving to phone consultation meetings, planning meetings and review meetings. We believe that by changing our practice to a phone format, we can continue to provide the personal service we pride ourselves with and respect our community and the national guideline for dealing with COVID-19.
We will continue to do face to face signing meetings as notarization is required to make your estate documents legal and official. These meetings will take place after the review and approval of your plan and will take no more than 10 minutes. The signing meeting will be limited to the signers, the notary and a witness, as needed.
We are still OPEN for business and we look forward to working with you regarding your estate planning needs.
